What's New in the S&I Help Center – June 2025 Updates
We’ve made several exciting updates to the S&I Help Center to make your experience better - both online and offline. These changes are designed to improve usability, accessibility, and community interaction. Here’s what’s new:
Custom Category Icons for a Branded Experience
What’s New:
Official Church icons will be used on the Library categories on the S&I Help Center homepage.
What This Means For You:
This enhancement allows us to better reflect S&I’s unique visual identity and helps users recognize categories more easily through familiar iconography. These meaningful icons improve the overall navigation experience and make the Help Center feel more connected to the rest of the Church's digital presence.
Print Button on Article Pages for Easy Offline Use
What’s New:
Every Help Center article now includes a Print button that creates a clean, print-friendly version of the article content.
What This Means For You:
Whether you’re a teacher preparing handouts or a leader sharing information offline, this feature makes it easier to print and distribute articles without all the web page clutter - no headers, sidebars, or footers. Just the content you need, ready for sharing or offline reference.
Reply Directly to the Main Post in Community Threads
What’s New:
Community users can now click a Reply button directly on the original post of any discussion thread.
What This Means For You:
This gives you a clear and easy way to respond to the main topic - just like replying to a comment. It improves the flow of discussion and keeps conversations focused, especially when you want to engage with the original post rather than a specific comment.
Full-Width Editor for New Community Posts
What’s New:
The editor used to create a new community post now spans the full width of the page body.
What This Means For You:
This change gives you more space to write and format your post comfortably. It brings the post creation experience in line with the rest of the Help Center design, making it easier to focus and express your thoughts clearly.
We’re always working to improve your experience in the S&I Help Center. If you have feedback or ideas, please share them in the Community or submit them here (https://si-help.ideas.aha.io/). Thank you for being part of the community, supporting each other in the work of S&I, and building together with us!
